About me
Hi!
My name is Maksym.
I’m a 20-year-old student from Ukraine currently studying in Jönköping University!

Building things online and tinkering with software started as a personal obsession that naturally led me into studying design and development. I spend my time channeling that curiosity into my craft, bridging the gap between sharp visuals, fluid animation, and creative code.

I build clean brand identities, functional digital layouts, and sharp vector graphics – perfecting typography, visual balance, and no wasted space.

Ren Artisan Chocolate
Concept
Design
Personal
2026
"Ren" is Swedish for pure. No palm oil, no artificial flavorings, and no compromises. Just 100% organic, single-origin chocolate crafted with the restraint and clarity of true Scandinavian artisan craft.
Inspired by the fluid grace of tempered chocolate, the logotype is rendered in a single, uninterrupted stroke. This continuous ribbon mimics the deliberate hand of an artisan drizzling warm chocolate from a piping cone—never lifting the pen, just as a confectioner never breaks the pour. The soft, organic curves celebrate the natural viscosity of chocolate in motion, infusing the identity with tactile warmth, craftsmanship, and human intimacy.
The packaging uses a simple two-piece system: a textured paper outer wrap held together by a modular belly band. Swapping out conventional plastic and foil for uncoated paper immediately makes the bar feel tangible, craft-focused, and personal.
The base layer pairs a deep chocolate background with fluid, cream-colored wavy lines. It directly mirrors the movement of the single-stroke logotype, giving a visual nod to melted chocolate without being too literal. The pattern gives the bar visual weight and presence on a shelf, but stays subtle enough that it doesn’t fight with the typography on the band.
Instead of following the usual formula - putting pretty graphics on the front and burying the ingredients and barcode on the back - the belly band flips the script with total transparency:
Most chocolate bars hide their contents in tiny print. Here, the three ingredients - Dominican cacao, 30% cane sugar, and 100% organic certification - are placed front and center.
The band uses clean, boxy modules to break down the key specs (70% cocoa, 80g bar, handmade) so the essential details are instantly scannable.
A short blurb about partnering with independent farmers and small-batch roasting sits right under the ingredients, giving the brand a grounded, human voice before you even open it.

JLT App Redesign
Concept
Design
Personal
2026
When I moved to Jönköping, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the local bus application - Jönköping Länstrafik. Even though the app is functional, it often felt that the application didn't focus on the things people were actually using it for… In fact, the majority of the local traffic apps have that same issue, in my opinion.
But new JLT brand redesign from the Grace Studio inspired me to design my own take for their application based on theor new brand identity,

The main focus focus for my redesign was improving the user's flow. Based on my own use cases, I listed the reasons why I was opening this application in the first place:
To open the Ticket
To check how close is the bus to the bus station
But looking at the current app design, the home page doesn't provide any of that information, and you need to do multiple steps to get there, so I changed that.

Current JLT home page

My redesigned home page
My current redesign provides 2 core informations right away:
The map makes locating the nearest station much easier, additionally showing live location of the busses;
Based on the location and recent searches/routes, user can already see how close the bus is to the station;
Furthermore, user can easily click their pinned locations under the search bar to easily plan the route.
Moreover, the user can access their ticket much quicker, by just swiping or clicking on the left QR code that is showing up on the left, and can easily come back to the main page as well, where they get all of the core information they need:
The bottom bar shows how much time is left until the end of the ticket
It shows which zone, type of ticket, and for which period of time the ticket was bought
Also, the user is not limited to buying one ticket; Under the current ticket, there is a "plus" sign that gives the user the ability to buy multiple of them, for example for their children, etc.

My redesigned ticket section

My redesigned search page

My redesigned search results page
The search aspect of the application was modified as well, making the planning aspect a little bit more visual and easy comparing to the original app, while still showing more information for the user.

Project Overview

Toggle Cinema
Concept
Design
Personal
2026
The majority of modern cinemas focus entirely on mainstream new releases, leaving decades of incredible film history overlooked.
Toggle Cinema is an independent venue designed to solve this by focusing exclusively on what audiences missed.
The brand identity and programming are split into two contrasting experiences:
Side A: Hidden Gem
Dedicated to forgotten masterpieces and critically acclaimed films that never received the attention they deserved. This section offers a traditional, focused viewing environment for cinephiles.Side B: Dumpster Fire
The exact opposite. This section is dedicated to films so absurd, flawed, or disastrous that they become highly entertaining. Designed for a highly social, interactive crowd, this track operates with fewer rules—encouraging audiences to laugh, comment, and enjoy the experience collectively.
To encourage continuous discovery and community building, Toggle Cinema replaces standard single-ticket purchases with a monthly subscription pass, allowing audiences unlimited access to their chosen section.
